Carole M. Davidson

Carole M. Davidson (nee’ Blumenfeld) 74, passed June 16, 2022. Beloved wife and best friend of Stanley for 51 years; loving mother of Julie Brown and Lisa (Bernard) Malkov; cherished “Nana” of Anna Brown, Blake and Mia Malkov; much loved sister of Phyllis (Leonard) Abrams and Barry (Maria) Blumenfeld; dear aunt, great aunt and friend of many. The family would like to extend a special thank you to Jo, Joanne, Chichi, Susan, Bing and Nuerologist Dr. James Castle who took amazing care of Carole over the years. Carole was a teacher in Chicago Public Schools at Hammond Elementary for many years. She took a leave to raise her adored daughters, later she returned to her passion of teaching in Wheeling and Northbrook School Districts. Carole loved Mo-Town music, dancing, bingo and cheering on the Cubs but her greatest love was her family, especially her husband Stanley. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations in her memory to the Alzheimer’s Association of Chicago, 225 N Michigan Ave, Chicago, IL 60603 or American Friends of Magen David Adom (www.afmda.org) would be greatly appreciated. The family will be receiving friends and family at Shalom Memorial Funeral Home 1700 W. Rand Road, Arlington Heights, Monday, June 20, 2022 beginning at 9 AM until the chapel service at 10 AM.
